To enroll in the LICQual Level 3 Award in Banksman, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
  • Educational Requirements: There are no formal educational qualifications required for this course. However, it is recommended that candidates have a basic understanding of literacy and numeracy skills, as the course involves interpreting safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and communicating effectively on site. A basic understanding of construction terminology and site safety is also beneficial.
  • Experience: Candidates must have prior experience working as a Banksman or in a similar role within a construction, industrial, or high-risk environment.
